Eucalyptus management programme.

Plant, wait 15 years. Get tree surgeon to reduce, three years later get tree surgeon to reduce (again! Cos it's bigger than it was before) wait five more years and take the bloody thing out. Their growth rate is insane. (Till the subzero temperatures do for it)

Don't treat double stems as single trees unless it is for a specific reason, you can anchor in the larger one, then swing over to the smaller one, do the smaller one first, then get back the larger one, it will save you a lot of time and faffing.

You dont wanna do it like that, you wanna do the bigger one from the smaller one. Make it easier on yourself.:blushing:

I'm curious as to why the ladder is up against the Euc. Are you climbing the tree or are you planning on working from the ladder? Do you have any experience of arb work at all or is this literally your first arb job?

As for the timber both burn well although Euc can be a pain to split & is better suited to stoves rather than open fires.

I'm guessing no insurance either.

God I hate sounding like an old fart and I'm only 32.
