Don't treat double stems as single trees unless it is for a specific reason, you can anchor in the larger one, then swing over to the smaller one, do the smaller one first, then get back the larger one, it will save you a lot of time and faffing.

 

You dont wanna do it like that, you wanna do the bigger one from the smaller one. Make it easier on yourself.

I'm curious as to why the ladder is up against the Euc. Are you climbing the tree or are you planning on working from the ladder? Do you have any experience of arb work at all or is this literally your first arb job?

 

As for the timber both burn well although Euc can be a pain to split & is better suited to stoves rather than open fires.

I would advise you have someone on the ground that can perform aerial rescue and perform 1st Aid.
