My girlfriend's old man has a single cab S Reg Hi-Lux with BF Goodrich off road tyres on. He says its the best thing he's ever bought! Really good truck imo.

Very reliable- its a toyota after all, and when loaded they are pretty unstoppable. Unladen i found mine to both be awful on and especially off road, and the load carrying ability leaves a bit to be desired. As a first 4x4 they are pretty good, you can always upgrade to a land rover later, as it should hold its price quite well if you loo after it. And i have seen them with tipper conversions too!

I bent my second one though.

Find another 3k or so and you can have my Land rover tipper, all singing all dancing awesomeness. Its in the classifieds BTW and i would split the trailer off it if you (or anyone else) was serious.:sneaky2:

Are you wanting a single or double cab...? :001_smile:

Reason being: If you want a double cab get a Mitsubishi L200 instead of a Hilux. Turning circle apart, it has a little more power, longer bed and plenty of 2003 - 2005 ones around for £5k...
