My fine lady and i are away in a week for a trip up the Outer Hebrides. I'm sure some folks will have some must sees and must dos.

I blasted down tehm 2 years ago on my bike but never really stopped much.

We plan to stop and walk the hills on South Uist and Cliseam on Harris.

Any other suggestions

Those are some from my last trip, it's stunning up there, my good lady even suggested swimming off one of the nice beaches (Traigh Lingeigh)

not doing Barra, working up from South Uist.

Last time i was there i got drinking with a guy from Stornaway he kept buying me pints (i only managed 6 after a 60mile cycle) he had 12 and 12 wisky chasers, the local bobby waved him off as he got into his artic and drove off into the night.:scared1:

that was after a 61 mile cycle.

While in the bar at Lochboisdale hotel i asked the lassie behind the bar what there was to do. She said drink here, go to someones house and drink or drink in the other pub, the locals pub. I asked for directions and was ''told go out the door, round the corner and go in the first door you come to and i'll be through to serve you''.

I went through and met the trucker from my post above.
