What's this weapon

Funnily enough I have one of those and when I showed it to a mate years after getting it, he pulled his one out of his workshop to show me. I used to run a large community centre and my janitor gave it to me after finding it on the flat roof part of the building.

Keep forgetting I have it and I have some brambles to cut up so I might just use it in anger for the first time this week.

We used to use similar and called them a brushing hook or knife for siding up Hawthorn hedges and slashing brambles.
