1100 or 1200 Dunc?

 

Standard 1100 TW........there were a few V&M 1200 specials made (distinctive colour scheme/tuned engine) but few and far between now as most would sat in collectors garages gathering dust and value, they will be worth a prety penny now. Blackbirds like mine are avaialble for not much money, mine is worth only £2k approx' even though she is up together.

Had a new spare spark plug in the cupboard so changed it over and things seem to be back to normal (for now at least)......let the saw fully cool, choke, cough on first pull, turn on..fires straight away and runs/idles normally.

 

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with my 5121. I've just put new plug in and no joy so far. Will try again in the morning after its settled again, I suspect the weather may be a cause as it's real hot and muggy here.

 

Did it work long term for you ?
