Certainly more impressive than 6 7ft oak boards on a pallet. If memory serves, that was about £600 worth of green timber, including VAT and delivery. A lot of burr elm in that, and some mediocre walnut too.

Lots of elm, sycamore and lime in stock at the moment. Also larch if posts/cladding are required, though I hate cutting larch.

 

The local council owned woodland is having some lovely 75-80 year old norway spruce felled at the moment which I'm going to enquire about. Anyone needing very high quality beams could consider those. Beautiful sticks.
