i will second that

you can bore with any chain

and tbh with ramps it is a smoother bore

I'm just wondering when I did my cs30/31 a few years ago this guy had a safety chain that wouldn't bore. He tried it and it just smoked until the instructor clicked. He had to borrow a saw for boring until he got another chain. Can't remember what saw it was or anything useful though.
