I've just passed my cs41 at Kingswood Training, absolutely made up.

I have to say it was a fantastic experience and a big eye opener on the forces applied when rigging loads above the pulley.

Kingswood is a very professional set up and the trainers and assessors were great!

Nice one..

We're doing ours in a couple of weeks..

Can you tell me what the course actually covers and what we will need to know. Any thing that would help to prepare or bring etc...

Thanks

If you've lowered before it'll be a piece of piss. Just look through the criteria with weights etc

It's not a difficult unit if you've been climbing for a while

Cheers New Guy Ti,

If you go on Kingswood Training website there is a 5 minute video of the assessment. There is quite a bit of theory involved which teaches you a lot.

One thing I will say is you have to go back to basics with cold starting your saw etc.

If you have been doing it a while you may have a few bad habits.

Good luck!
