New diesel engine needed for Vermeer.

Had a little accident with the Hatz diesel on the chipper. Dropped a valve...holed piston, smashed head etc.

 

Anyone have an old hatz engine knocking around or any other diesel engine for sale? Cheers.

try a sabb 900 turbo in it - jokes , have a look in the farmers trader there are regularly suitabe engines in there for penuts ! well a few or your english pounds if im honest lol

My vermeer had the hideous kohler flat twin 11hp petrol when i first got it. It now has a 39hp deutz aircooled diesel. The engines can be found prety cheap on things like twin vibrating roller etc, and go on the vermeer very well. Ill see if i can dig out some pics........
