getting into 'the lounge'

Hi,

I have only ever been able to access the lounge forum once after a very long wait for it to download whatever it requires.

Do i need access priveleges, im using windows 8 on a bog standard toshiba laptop i bought newlast year.

Any one else have similar experience or remedy.

The lounge is just another form and should take no time to down load.

Thats the only thing I can think. The lounge displays google ads unlike the rest of the forums. Can you try with a different browser?

Thanks, I shall try that, I gain entry using my phone browser so ill switch the PC one, currently using firefox.

I notice a flag at the foot of the page that says waiting for "www.assoc-amazon.co.uk..."

I just removed the amazon banner, try now

Good. Those amazon ads are legitimate, not sure why your browser would stop them and not others

Im not really pc savvy enough to understand or alter settings.

does taking the banner down affect arbtalk income?

I swopped it for google banner code instead, so no. I thought I had the google banners displaying there anyway, not amazon....so its good that this has now been changed.
