Knowing him its still the same old van. Yep must say they were very good. Little fish must have been fresh out of nappies at the time. John pulled me and my ford 4000 out of some boggy rides more than once. I was gamekeeping at the time, off list i got them to widen some of the rides to let more light in so to try and dry em out. When they had finished the contract there was a part load of cord beech left, john said i could have it, lasted me 3 years.

What type/species of log would you say produces you favoured type of Swedish Candle Mr TVI?

I've just been using the Norway Spruce I took out of Raydon Wood as I couldn't think of anything else to do with it. Have done a couple of Ash ones plus a Hornbeam and a Red Oak. All worked well. I've sold loads of them through the farm shop but have never got round to offering them elsewhere. I am truly terrible at sales work!

Did manage to sell 75 to Big Fish and his soon to be son in law Lewis (aka Fandango Fines-fiddler the third). Lewis runs the woodland products arm of Treewood Harvesting.
