Am doing a service on the 200t and found that the fuel filter pipe had perished. i had a look on the web for the part and there seems to be two types, i was just wondering if there was any reason for them being different? any info would be much appreciated.

The early ones had a separate breather vent above the fuel cap on the top of the tank, this has the single pipe type. It has a push in white fibre breather with a red rubber mushroom on the inside of the tank.

The other one has a two pipe fuel pipe with the tank vent being situated in the top of the air box and is fitted on later machines.

No, all UK machines will have one or the other - you just need to check if your tank vent is built in to the top of the fuel tank under the air box or if the vent is mounted in to the actual airbox at the top next to the carb.
