Taking depth gauges down past spec.

I tried the Husky roller guide years ago and found that the plastic rollers eventually wear down putting the file too low and making too much hook .

 

That one reason it was in the bottom of the toolbox, I just didn't get on with sharpening with it, just used the depth gauge bit today

The depth gauge bit is what I mostly use as well. I prefere to file freehand on the cutters, unless there are rocked out teeth.
