With a 14" plug in the middle it needs a fair bit of lean to crack that off, with a fair chance of a barber chair, these are bigger than they look in pics, if it barbered and collapsed on its self you're not going to out run it, my point is he has no idea of the things that can go wrong when felling a tree like that

I know what you mean, but if he doesn't know to leave a hinge in the first place he isn't going to how to bore the centre out of it. Even so you can only fell 2 and half times your bar length
