Itching to get back to work!

Go easy on the knee mate. I feel your pain.

I did mine in 1997 whilst I was working in the States. I didn't have medical insurance so hobbled about and got on with it until I got back to the UK. Was a bitch for about 18months until I finally had an op in 1999.

Touch wood, not had any problems with it since. Still have managed plenty of snowboarding and Thai boxing in the last 15 years since the op.

One thing I did get though was a knee brace specific to that form of injury. It is called CTi the Edge and was endorsed by the US Olympic ski team. Not cheap mind but it meant I didn't have to put my life on hold till I eventually had the op.

Good luck.

Give it time, I had a shoulder op two months ago and definitely know the feeling. I'm still not allowed to lift the kettle with my right arm and won't be climbing again until April, best thing you can do is just take it easy and make sure it heals properly first time. I never want to see another tv once I'm done with this recovery!

All the best with it though, hope it goes well for you!

Thanks mate, well yes that's what I'm thinking. It couldn't have happened at a worse time really, right before Xmas! But hey ho, these things are set to challenge you!

Best wishes with your shoulder buddy, I hope you recover soon. I know the exact feeling about the TV! I've had enough of Jezza Kyle already!

Take care.
