Itching to get back to work!

First day off work, its only 10.50 am and I'm already itching to get back to it!

 

Unfortuntly it won't be any time soon though

 

Went to A&E on Friday evening, after barely being able to walk only to find out that I've torn the ACL and have cartilage damage in my left knee. On crutches for a minimum of 4 weeks :(

 

Hey ho, life goes on... Just gives me loads of time to read arbtalk and create my new website!

Thoughts are with you:stickyman:, I had Hernia opp on Friday:nurse:. I have court up with paperwork all ready

Not 100% sure how I did it, but I put it off from going to hospital and carried on working for 3 days (until the missus came back) and then I was ordered to the hospital! Sat in A&E for 4 hours on Friday night surrounded by drunks! That was worse!!

 

Paul, ouch, doesn't sound very pleasant. Hope you have a speedy recovery. How long will you be off for?

Minimum 6 to 8 week but depends on heeling, no heavy lifting not easy in are work.

Ah shiz, you'll be off until the new year now then I'm bored as hell already, I live out in the sticks so can't go anywhere as not allowed to drive at the mo. Just want to get back to working! I bet you feel the same?

Bit of a rush last week getting work done before Christmas a month early. Have got to keep mobile but not easy with the weather we had at week end and not slip over but that's british weather.

Know the feeling mate. Stretched a tendon 2 weeks ago at football, it pulled the bone up with the tendon head. Reckon It'll be another 2 weeks of light duties.

Carefull at work not so out of work...duh!!

Hmm, I'm glad you managed to get it all done. Yes, well I attempted to go for a walk (more of a hop/hobble) this morning but decided against it due to the frost!! I'll try again in an hour or so!
