Thanks for the rubber handle tip!

Is the idea to make a more uniform pass through tight crotches (etc?), rather than snag up like with a throw weight and 'biner? Cool, man.

 

Didn't know what the idea was as I just didn't have anything else to hand. There is less chance of getting it stuck and less chance of damaging something too. Not used it long to be honest but so far so good.

Was working in a scruffy area yesterday and picked up a bike handle grip made of soft rubber. Put it over the eye splice on bluetongue and it served very well as a throw weight. Very safe too. I csn see there being some play on words on here but it is a serious thread!

 

Get a grip man, on yer bike! :lol:

 

Good idea, like the throw bag idea too:thumbup:
