I'm looking for a good multipurpose machine primarily to feed chipper / run cone splitter etc, what would you guys recommend??

What sort of weight class are you looking at? Do you have the ability to move it yourself? Also a realistic budget guide are key points to recommend on?

Many many threads on Arbtalk now on this subject- may be worth searching out a few threads as there is some good info out there.

As Eddie says, an idea of budget and what size chipper your planning on feeding and what you have to transport the machine will help.:thumbup1:

Ok, 3.5 ton maybe more, to feed a big jensen or maybe a heizo, budget about 10-12k..

If you can move it ok, Kubota KX161-3 would absolutely be my first choice, and would be within your budget.

I have a mint, really trick Kinshoffer Nox Timber Grab and Rotator coming up for sale in a week or so that would suit it perfectly?
