You could do the social in stonehaugh ,won't open till 7.30 but beers cheap and Albert might make you an omelette if your lucky.. I'll be in after me tea .

 

I'll ask my folks about the barrasford arms in the morning, I have not been there myself but heard them talk about it.

 

If your going to humshaugh from barrasford be aware the bridge is shut in wark so chollorford is the only way across the N Tyne.

I marvel the bridge at wark it took 6 weeks to build over 100 years ago and in 2014 took 6 months and counting to paint!!
