Vermeer mini skidder?

Hello Arbtalk ladies and gents, I'm thinking about getting a Vermeer mini skid loader, 450 650 & 800. What are the thoughts of the folk that have them? Good or bad? Any advice on them and pics of them at work would be great. Do any owners have the root cutter attachment and is it as good as a proper stump grinder?

Cheers Rob

Just seen this, which looks like stump grinder aids to me. I could chew that faster. + my Bandit HB20, which fits through a doorway and cost £7k would make that look very silly in a race.

However, it looks like it would be easy to scratch build/borrow from another machine a head and rams to run a 30-40hp ish powerpack and the ability to slow the slew speed. I assume that would lift up an engine of that size without much bother. Would then be a pretty good tool and very much multi purpose.

Would be even better if you could tap into the machines hydraulics and make it remote control. Though that may get expensive.
