I think it needs 125 Hp. The John deere I'm running is a 6910 with about 150 Hp. If you need to no anything about contact Graham at chippers international he is a good bloke.

 

We had yard full of brash and it's done about 3/4 of it In 2 days should be finished on Tuesday night then we will be reshred after that.

 

Then another yard to do. It it's a good machine when it is shredded again it comes out like its been chipped

Thanks for that info. Too much power needed for us to consider I am afraid. We have a low hp requirement machine in mind that will suit us IF it does the job.You can't beat having enough horsepower for chipping / shredding, it certainly speeds the job up.

 

I would be interested in a closeup pic of your chip if you have the time and inclination.
