Well I have a couple of tanks through mine now, it is a strong saw in the cut, plenty of torque, yet revs well, & I expect it to improve with a few hours on it, & have high hopes of it being a competitive, reliable saw.

Mine came with a 20 inch bar, they will take a 25 inch.

The clutch cover is alloy.

It has double bump spikes.

The balance feels spot on, certainly not nose heavy, so a bigger bar I suspect will feel at home on it.

The air cleaner is easy no tool access, & good quality, so easy to clean.

The bar on it is of nice quality too.

Over all the build quality looks & feels very good, I would say as good or better than the big 2 brands, and it runs a normal carb, so tuning will be a breeze, it has plastic restricting caps on the H & L screws, easy to remove them for the exhaust mod brigade, ( which I understand these saws respond well to).

Sorry to bore the carp out of you, but for what it's worth, I am a happy bunny with the saw in all areas so far.:001_smile::001_smile:

Hi,

Well done, sounds really good, particularly the 'normal carburettor' & build quality

Keep us posted on how things go, no daft flippy caps either?

No flippy caps, big fat old school ones, & will take a combi can spout.

The oil tank is in alloy, with a paper type gasket, the petrol tank in plastic, same colour as the saw, but you can see your fuel level through the plastic.

I used it today logging up a few loads of mixed wood, three more tanks through it, on Aspen, it is running stronger after a bit of use, I also had to knock the tickover down a bit, as it picked up as the saw loosens in.

I will be very interested to run it alongside a 560, I think the husky will cut a little faster, but it will be a close run thing imo.:001_smile:

felling pops all day with mine alongside my 372,both 18" bars,if you blindfolded me it would be hard to tell the difference in torque, the 620 is that good believe me

I know I'm harping on, but it really is a lovely saw, reminds me a bit of a smaller version of the Stihl ms460, but with a more refined build & handling.

A high accolade indeed.
