Hi all

What's a good/average tonnage rate for Chestnut,

Nice tall trees, must be 18-24" wide at stumps.(May be bigger)

 

Cut, stripped out small ish stuff stacked for forwarder.

Must be getting quite old to be 30ish". Over about 60 years the shake start and then the value plummets.

 

 

Some are larger but in the main I'm guessing 24" bar should fell from one side only a few bigger ones

To be stacked at road side you'd be looking at about 16-18 pound a ton but just for the cutting you'd be on a winner at 10 pound a ton.
