Chainsaw cuts out if not revved

Make sure you take note of the settings (ie turn each screw in and count exactly how much you turn them before they softly ground out) write it down and then remove them and strip the carb again before squirting cleaner thru. Also I always tend to have a quick look at the ends of the screws to make sure they are in good nick and dirt free.

 

I finally got some carb cleaner today, and found out we have a toolstation here :)

 

I tried to turn the screws in (clockwise) but they didn't want to move. I turned them the other way and they unscrew freely, after an initial click, as if they'd used locktite or something. Not sure if this will make things easier to get the screws back in to the same depth or not.
