How much will you charge this winter?

I sold 2cu metres last winter for £130 up to 10 miles delivery sold out in March

I buy in cord wood and may not bother this winter. If I do will more than likely start at £145 increase to £155 in December

You guys work hard in the timber business and I think it should be around £100 a cube

but getting that is another thing.

If oil price stays low and we have a mild winter demand will be lower. The recession has curbed peoples spending and put people out of work so expect some people topping up their giros.

Logs are a side line for me and I enjoy it but still need to pay the bills so can take it or leave it.

I wish you all luck with your sales this winter.
