have been offered some chainsaws huskys and sthil,s do not know much about the above if that is the correct model number. if so second hand working what should i be paying for it. said its in good order.

You sure about the AV? An old 046 is probably worth £250-300 if it's in good nick, but I'm not familiar with it. I've a MS460 which is a great saw, and cost about £900 new.
