ha ha, good one, fart around with plants and speak latin, guess i could have worded title better.

basically need someone who knows their plants etc and can pot and maintain spring , summer and autumn stuff

Would struggle to get much above £8 an hour I reckon. The attitude in the industry towards pay and availability of cheaper almost robotic foreign workers sets a low benchmark across the horticulture industry.

Plus the way schools have used it to occupy the students that struggle in other lessons, does not give it much credibility.

Anyone can do the garden because most homeowners have an under achieving one, so a genuine plants person not esteemed much.
