I love the old crafts like that, shame they are all but gone.

 

some still going strong clothes pegs,bessom brroms,tent pegs hay rakes to name a few that are made by the coppicing group i belong to.

just started making pegs. and tent pegs big demand for them.

vegi and fruit boxs just started making them got a order for 6 to get done.

but the shovel maker very interesting be good to get film to show at our film show.

Just got back from Gers in rural France

 

Stumbled across brocant street market, loads of adzes for sale plus draw knives etc etc

No riving tools though - limited in what I could get home

Stuff was cheap too - typically 15€ for a draw knife
