Only when I top it up and only until the level goes back down to below the sight glass.

 

That could be your problem, the level should be checked with all rams retracted and in stowed position.

Our 530t did the same thing, worn hydrauilic pump was cavitating the oil, causing it to foam up and spurt out the breather hole- New pump from Border Hydraulics £140 problem solved

Yes level has always been just below the sight glass you think they would put the sight glass a wee bit lower if that was the true level.

Just had a towball fitted so I can pull a quad trailer. Wasn't sure if it was going to work but it is great you can chip straight into the trailer and do away with lots of dragging.:thumbup:
