I have a 2008 Stihl ms 260 that seems to be using more chain oil than it has done in the past? I have tryed to adjust the screw (oil amount) on the underside of the saw but this does not seem to make any difference? also the screw doesnt bottom out tight, or unscrew out all the way? is this how it should be?:confused1:

Hope some of you kind people will be able to help

Thanks in advance

From memory, I believe it has 180* of adjustment and has firm stops. May be worth pulling it off and looking at it! The screw should NOT spin round and round!

Looks like the stops are missing?

I'll fit a new oil pump and see how we get on from there!

Thanks for the advice!!
