Moving back to uk and traveling by coach from Dublin to Victoria London and wondering if i can put my husky 560 in my hard case. I have never had a bag searched before but wondered if any one else has been in the same position?

take the bar and chain off and drain fluids, maybe put it in a plastic bag to stop any leakages, then it should be fine, it would be obvious that your not going to be firing it up and carving into chairs then i cant see an issue.

Not being able to drive, I go between kent and Somerset by national express coach. I often take a saw to cut logs for my partners grandparents. Drain it, take off the bar and chain and stick it in a waterproof bag. Iv been refused entry before when they smelt residual petrol and were worried about it leaking

I'm half Irish mate, and if you think I stereotype all Irish citizens as being sweaty and fat and dribbling all the time then you need not be worried as I don't. Apologies if I offended you. I did say I was getting a coach from Dublin.

The fact that you think you can publicly stereotype any of us in possibly the oldest most cliched terms ive heard in about 20 years is my problem mate .And it probably puts you in a category where irrespective of what you say i wont be offended .
