Another Tech Cert Question.

 

Explain how an ancient tree situated on the edge of a development site may be protected?

 

So far I have headings of:

 

TPO – under Town and Country Planning Act

 

Wildlife protection – under Wildlife and Country Side Act, Crow + Habitat Reg

 

British Standard 5837 – tree root protection zone (barrier)

 

Any others ??

Where didi that question come from? Haven't seen that one on my past exam papers.

It is the duty of the local planning authority when granting planing permission for any development to ensure adequate provisions are made for the retention of trees. Town and Country Planing act 1990 and 2008.

Does that not relate to the exams in october as opposed to the written exams next week though?

 

Yea I;m fine thanks.....getting on with it...spent pretty much Fiday night through to Sun night going through all the exam papers. Have Friday and next Monday off work so will put a 4 day stint in. 1 day per module probably.

good effort on the grafting....the dec 2007 is the resit paper so well worth a look....keep up the good work!
