Level 6 Professional Diploma in Arboriculture

I agree with btggaz.

Forget about a social life, forget about holidays, forget about reading anything other than tree related stuff, forget about weekends and welcome stupidly long hours of study, stupidly long hours spent looking at a monitor and welcome to the hardest 2 years of your life.

It's very hard, but so worthwhile; I'm sniffing the finishing line:thumbup:

I envy you. I got ridiculously behind and have twenty odd assignments to complete for my first year before starting again in October. Every learner on our course, who hasn't quit, has discussed quitting at some point or another.

I would seriously suggest anyone considering it to think again. You need support of your family - who need to understand that there is nothing else but studying for two years.

It's also a means of entry to chartered status - as an arboriculturist, with the RFS.

Just plug away at them; don't let up the intensity one little bit.

I'm fortunate in that I've a good bunch of guys that work for me and a very understanding wife who runs the office and books time off for me during the week; but I'm still in the office for 0730 hrs every weekend.
