Tree ID, Pests and Controls

Really hacked at by the owner then the tree surgeon gets called in thinking we have a magic wand to repair the damage!

 

I was thinking prunus because of the 2 glands at the base of the leaf so glad to hear I was along the right line.

 

Any advice for treating aphid (I think!) infestation?

find a sycamore tree, shake the branches over a white blanket muslim say, then collect the beasties that look like little black grubs (lady bird larvea and pour them on the tree suffering!:thumbup1:

 

 

or soapy water

 

or something I would not recommend but others will!:lol:
