Not a good day just had a call from the dealer and the pot and piston scored up badly :( RIP 550xp

 

Now comes the question what to replace it with?

Are they saying why it nipped up . Did they check your fuel ? Coz if there is nothing wrong with that its either a massive air leak that the AT cant compensate for or a faulty carb ....

Then I would contest that finding especially if you have run the same batch of fuel in other saws . As long as the mix was correct and no more than a week or so old then you cant blame the fuel .

I am picking the saw up from the dealer saturday and will inspect myself Sunday but new pot and piston is £360 fitted. Bit lost as to what to replace it with tho
