Two and half hours on the highest setting in the tumble dryer and any rope will come out dry and crease free....

can you put rope in a tumble drier?

 

 

i wash my rope when it gets really soiled. i normally daisy chain it and then put it into a pillow case after one of my lowering ropes somehow got destroyed after a wash.

In order to prevent future claims for damages from climbers who try to tumble dry their ropes, I would like to point out that under no circumstances should any ropes be tumble dried.

Its on the care label, duh!

Don't wire brush, bleach or try to iron your ropes either.

Also blenders are totally out of the question.
