so i get the idea its fuel .. its cleaner.. better for emissions and the saw etc..

can you just run aspen or moto mix in your saw ( stihl ms200 or husky 550xpg) or do you have to tune the saw to run on it ? other than being expensive fuel is it that much better to work with ?

As far as I'm aware you can run it in any modern saw. The MS200 might need tweeking slightly but the 550XP's 'Autotune' should sort itself out. After all, Husky run their saws, etc. on Aspen in the factory, so should be no real problems. I've run my 545 on Aspen since new and it's not missed a beat.

As to working with it. It has got its own smell but it's hardly anything and burns so much cleaner. Not only for the plug, pot & exhaust. But also nicer for your body, especially when working in confined areas. Do yourself a favour and run Aspen.

Hi,

If your saws have run pump fuel you may find that your engine idles slower when running Aspen.

Just adjust the LA screw to get idle speed back to factory spec.

Also you may need to adjust the Low speed L screw out 1/8 of a turn to give you better acceleration.

Please give me a call if you have any questions
