Hi once again

You guys have already solved one query so here's another one for you. My above mower has never started on the key (only pull start) since I bought it and was wondering if this is an easy fix. When I turn the key you can hear a whirring noise but nothing else. What do I need to do.

Once again thank you in advance

Sounds like the starter is not engaging with the fly wheel teeth and just spinning . Maybe a little TLC on the bendix ?

Hi

Thanks for your replies.

I borrowed a friends multi-metre and there is power on the key switch and power on out part of the starter, however there is no power going into the starter so I am going to get a new one and hopefully this will solve the problem.

Thanks once again
