Check spout on our tw190 the spout has been welded and bodhed the flappy bit on the end bit was all out of shape and the chip went all over the place. Having replaced with a new one it fires the stuff nice and cleanly

Hi All,

Ok fan not broken, just all blocked up solid and fan very worn on leading edges have ordered new fan blades from spectrum plant, had a nice chat to them no need to upgrade pulley will just need to drill two holes and tap them to fit new type fan units put back together and see easy job. spose that after 7 years of working fan parts would be a bit worn and in parts a little bent.

Hi Timberwolf,

Would love to be able to take my machine to my local dealer but you have only one in France listed on your web site and he is over 3 hours away, and knowing the French it would cost twice as much as having a UK dealer look at it, and take him a month to get around to even ordering parts ! Have had to do quite a bit of work on the old girl since we have been in France but she is a solid machine and we are getting to know each other very well since we moved to France 5 years ago. before I used to take her to a dealer and he was great, now it's a labour of love. You could sponsor me into becoming the second French dealer ? I do have 30 years experience on working on machinery all over the world from the UK to South Africa you never know might work !

Get a compression test, mine was low on one cylinder causing the same issue as yours. prior to changing the engine I changed the pulley it made a differenced but not enough to warrant leaving it as it was. Hoe is the no stress working ?

Hi Pommie,

OK I will have a compression test done at local garage, It's such an old machine it does not have any no stress fitted, and as I live in France it does not matter like it better with out no stress, less to go wrong. flywheel at engineering work shop having new holes drilled and taped to fit new type fan blades. Did bearings last year if all comes up ok with engine will order up new flywheel and shafts and just rebuild it next year. it's a good old simple machine that has been with me for nearly 10 years and I got it 3rd hand, until now has worked like a trouper. Engine starts first time every time and have done basic servicing myself. love it it's bashed and battered but part of the family !
