HI ALL. I was hunting of the correct Mi for my Sons Mini Moto, and found a thread on Stihl web site saying

When using STIHL 2 stroke lubricant:

Mix at 50:1 (20mls oil per 1 litre fuel)

When using any other brand of air cooled 2 stroke:

Mix at 25:1 (40mls oil per 1 litre fuel)

I am not using Stihl oil and have been running 50-1 should I change to 25-1 ?

I have a mixed set of tools. ChainsawsMS201,241,MS150 plus the Blowers,Strimmer etc..

thanks for any advice..

Use whatever mixture ratio recommended by the OIL.

What oil are you using?

As a general rule the semi synthetic and fully synthetic oils are 50:1 and the mineral oil is 25:1. Although that can change depending on the machine and the brand of oil. But if you are using a oil that is the same spec as the Stihl oil then mix it at the same ratio.
