where can i get candidate work books 38/39

Hey up,

doe's any one know where you can get hold of the candidate workbooks for the "current" cs 38/39?

 

Can you download them or buy them in print any where?

 

when i last contacted nptc they said the only way to get them was to do the course.

cs38 has changed its name to climb trees and perform ariel rescue

 

and thats £15.50 each cash or cheque, i dont mind

thanks Ive seen the assesment schedules before... useful that i can down load them.

 

Not quite what i'm looking for though, it's the work book you get when you do the course, goes over the tecnique, pretty pictures diagrames.

 

have been advised by a few climbers that my climbing is good enough to go straight to assessment, i just want to get up to date with any changes...

ah, diddnt realise there were picture books too!

38/39 is easy as, theres a few on here recently passed, all seemed stunned by how un stressfull it turned out to be

Thanks... thats good to know.. I'm just too much of a control freak

 

There was a work book when I did basic chainsaw so i assumed that there were for all of them. every climber I worked with just did the assessment.

i passed 38 a few weeks ago, it was just like a recreational climb with a bloke watching you, very enjoyable, if you have a little bit of common sense and reads the schedule you'll walk it

Try contacting Lantra, but they will only supply workbooks to training providers.

 

If you need to read the books, then I suggest you attend the course.

 

Or if your just after any updates on climbing etc see the new AFAG guide, and just take the assessment.

Funny thats what lantra said last time, but I wasn't then or now able to pay for training just too see some books.
