Hi guys I am looking for some nice spalted beech for milling I am in north dorset but i only have a sprinter van so collection of massive buts is not poss so if anyone out there can help please get in toutch

Hi Mark,

 

We have this butt at our yard nr Crossways, been down for about 18months.

Spalting from Ganoderma and Kretzschmaria. You would be more than welcome to mill on site if required.

i have a fair bit near barnstaple, bit of a way for you. Taken down autumn'12. Anyone else interested welcome too. hit a nail in it, hence not ringed up so you'd need a metal detector. top sections probably clean. Base about 1m diam.
