CPC Info Needed

You don't need a cpc or a tacho just an operators licence as long as you work within 50km as the bird flies.

I went to a dvsa seminar about a month ago this question was asked and this is what they said.

Remember the checks every 10 weeks and you'll be fine

Edit just re read your post and you don't even need to do anything you're under 3.5 ton it doesn't matter. They put the tachos in vehicles just incase you want to up rate it to 5.5 ton

This doesn't apply to crewcabs though does it?

So we are back to the point made by Pete Haines that I don't need a CPC for using my reps towtug CrewCab or the beaver tail. But I do need to keep reasonably extensive manual records of every days work/driving/rest times and destinations, along with start and finish mileage. And obey the working hours regs for tacho equipped vehicles?

Are both of these vehicles under 3.5 ton?

If yes you need a driving licence and that's it possibly a b+e depends on what your towing.
