Mine has always been serviced by Toyota, but the new proace just seems to be a rebadged citroen/peugot & a lot more expensive than either, it just seems the more I look the more confused I become :confused1:!

The toyota pro ace seems to have all the luxury stuff you don't want for a works van as standard (so they jack the price up, especially that toyota network wifi thing) and then you have to pay to have for the useful stuff like a bulkhead.

Been driving a trafic for a while now. Injectors an issue due to water leaking under windscreen scuttle plate. Mine swapped under warranty.

Drives well but I do have to spend weekends doing maintenance. I quite enjoy it though and have a workshop to do it in. Latest is McPherson struts top bearings, anti roll bar links and new rear discs.

Now that hits the nail on the head.

The Toyota has made me lazy in respect that it doesn't need maintanence at the weekends, I just drive it & forget it inbetween services.

I do use the van for other stuff as well as work, camping & such.

I know a few people who would have nothing else Hiace all the way. But its not a proper Toyota anymore. I never had one, just did not fit my build a bit cramped with soft seats and little Thigh support.

I saw today that the AA are using them, so I asked the guy what he thought, he couldn't speak highly enough of them, he was on his 4th, the other 3 having done in excess of 100k each with no issues.
