Ive noticed the fs 70s shafts bend never really seen strimmers do that before I might try swapping the engine out for a fs 70 on the 4 mix if it ever dies its never let me down yet.

I can't see that Stihl have changed their production method for this one model of strimmer shaft (which is still the same type and diameter as every other model below the FS310). Therefore I would suggest that you have a higher than average percentage of heavy-handed idiots working at your firm :001_tongue:

 

A shaft won't break due to too much cord- that's what the clutch is for.
