Husqvarna CTH151 blade clutch

Hi we have a Husqvarna CTH151 ride on mower in for repair , the cutter deck is slow to engage , it has a mechanical clutch that is engaged by a cable and spring does anyone know if these are adjustable internally as the cable does not have any adjustment :confused1:

Sorry Neil, no help from me. I don't see many of the newer Huskies, bit strange really, being close to R&T.

 

I did take one in PX a year or two back. It looked good (from a distance) but I thought the build quality was fairly poor.

 

I have a feeling there was a mod on the engagement cable, but cannot find any spec on it.

 

Maybe worth phoning Wincanton?

The Noram clutch is not adjustable or servicable, there was two versions of the clutch, the early clutch had a pressed steele pulley on the bottom, the later noise compliant clutch had a cast pulley on the bottom, the importer of the clutch was Broadbent drives, there part no.s were early clutch CB117, later clutch was a CB127, if they are still about you should find them on the web.
