Friday's job.

Dismantle a 50year old Quercus rubra and grind out the stump.

The tree was formerly part of a hedge line on a bank and now found itself in a tiny garden 50m2 and suffering from butt decay.

The access was tight all round.

A fish pond newly installed added to the hazards so we covered it up with plastic for the day.

Oh why oh why do the French love white floor tiles so...?

The job, including, stump and splitting the wood was done in 7 hours = 992euros:001_cool:

I admit that I ache tonight and will probably fall asleep on the sofa...
