Laid some turf today for the first time, I'd like a bit of feed back and some advice for next time. Thanks in advance

Stagger the joints a bit more as you can see a line where the joints are.

Can't see properly on the phone but I always work away from the house, roll first one way then back the other

 

Then when customer looks out the window it's nice and stripey already

Yes, we'll that's how I was taught and I do it that way and have never had any complaints mate:) there are videos online I'm sure. It looks a neat job that you have done anyway mate.

That's the main thing mate. Go back in a couple of months and maybe give it a roll. I did one last summer, and after a couple of months I gave it a good rolling, looked great.
