On OS maps, blocks of woodland often have names. Now that I've planted my own woodland, how do I go about registering a chosen name for it, so my name will live on after I'm gone?

Personally, I'm not in the slightest bit worried what my wood ends up being called.

I thought of it, I planned the initial layout, and I planted it, that will never change.

I'm quite content with that and just hope I get to stick around for as long as possible to see it flourish.

The owner of a five acre block that he had planted up over the last 20 odd years was recently contacted directly by OS themselves to ask for the name they would like to be apportioned to the new woodland.
